RRA Submits Public Comments Regarding Proposed Medical Marijuana Regulations

The Responsible Regulation Alliance provided the Cannabis Control Commission with public comments regarding medical marijuana regulations in the Commonwealth.

“Members of the RRA are fully committed to ensuring a strong medical marijuana market in Massachusetts,” the submission notes. “We all recognize and support the invaluable medicinal benefits that cannabis provides to patients in need. We are concerned, however, that the medical marijuana regulations, in their current form, disincentivize operators from keeping their medical licenses.”

RRA Submits Public Comments Regarding Energy and Environmental Regulations

The Responsible Regulation Alliance provided public comments to the Cannabis Control Commission regarding energy and environmental regulations.

“Members of the RRA fully support the inclusion of environmentally friendly and energy efficient goals in the regulations,” the submission notes. “We understand that the cannabis industry needs to be an ally of the Commonwealth to achieve the goals set forth in Global Warming Solutions Act.”

Nature's Remedy Joins Responsible Regulation Alliance Advisory Board

The Responsible Regulation Alliance announced the expansion of its advisory board Thursday with the addition of Nature’s Remedy, which plans to operate three adult use retail stores and two medical dispensaries, with the first location opening in late 2018. The company produces its own electricity off the grid to sustain its state-of-the-art cultivation facility in Lakeville.

Nature’s Remedy is the seventh member of the RRA Advisory Board, joining Bask Cannabis, Massachusetts Patient Foundation, Mayflower Medicinals, Natural Selections, Acreage Holdings, and Trichome Health. RRA intends to limit the board to 10 cannabis companies that are either operating or planning to operate in Massachusetts.

Responsible Regulation Alliance Advisory Board Expands to Six Members with the Addition of Trichome Health

The Responsible Regulation Alliance announced the expansion of its advisory board Thursday with the addition of Trichome Health, which holds two Provisional Certificates of Registration in Massachusetts and intends to be operational in Lakeville by the end of the year.

Trichome Health is the sixth member of the RRA Advisory Board, joining Coastal Compassion, Massachusetts Patient Foundation, Mayflower Medicinals, Natural Selections, and Acreage Holdings. RRA intends to limit the board to 10 cannabis companies that are either operating or planning to operate in Massachusetts.
